Our client sought to establish a dentistry within an existing building, requiring a code assessable development application to be lodged with Logan City Council for a Health Care Service use.

Whilst re-purposing an existing building, the new use exceeded GFA (gross floor area) requirements and triggered a development application.

Codes assessed as part of the Logan Planning Scheme 2015 included:

  • Medium density residential zone code
  • Filling and excavation code
  • Infrastructure code
  • Landscape code
  • Servicing, access and parking code
