The subject site was measured to be less than 200m walking distance from the 2000m2 centre zone. This measurement was created using Brisbane City Plan 2014 interactive mapping, using likely walking paths.
Despite the smaller than usual lot sizes the proposed subdivision maintained compliance with the relevant acceptable outcomes of the Subdivision code. Specifically, Table 184.108.40.206.B Part 2—Small lots in the Low density residential zone, Character residential zone, Low-medium density residential zone and Emerging community zone.
The existing house was approved as-of-right to be relocated wholly onto the northern allotment.
