JREY obtained Development Approval for a new two storey house on Macleay Island from Redland City Council.
Whilst the house use was acceptable development within the site’s zone, the development application was triggered via the Coastal Protection (erosion prone areas) overlay code of the planning scheme.
The development was assessed against the State regulations and the Redland Planning Scheme 2018.:
