JREY® is pleased to have obtained development approval for our clients new home renovation project in Brisbane. 

The following permits were applied for and given by Brisbane City Council: 

  • Carry Out Building Work (Development Permit) for dwelling house alterations in the Traditional building character overlay. 

  • Carry Out Building Work (Development Permit) for minor demolition in the Traditional building character overlay. 

The applicable Council fees in 2023 were (excludes JREY fees):

  • Domestic Type B (Extension) - $1,280 

  • Demolition Type B (Partial demolition) - $1,024 

The following codes were assessed against Brisbane City Plan 2014: 

  • Character CR2 (Infill housing) Zone Code 

  • Ithaca District Neighbourhood Plan Code 

  • Dwelling House (small lot) Code 

  • Flood Overlay Code 

  • Traditional Building Character (design) Overlay Code

  • Traditional Building Character (demolition) Overlay Code
