JREY (known at the time as Urban Planners Queensland) obtained development approval from Brisbane City Council for an educational training facility.
It was proposed to re-purpose the existing display and sales, industrial buildings as a training facility to provide the community with emergency response education as part of a wider network of facilities.
The proposed facility was segmented into 2 clear but complimentary uses as defined under Brisbane City Plan 2014, being:
Office use.
Education Facility.
